Newscast directing - wrtv, channel 6, indianapolis
A clip that I directed for RTV6 News at 5 on January 31, 2019. Directing at RTV6 compiles the use of Grass Valley Ignite automated directing system, Ross Camera smart shell camera automation with a track movement system, and Chyron Duet graphic animation system.
WRTV-TV is an ABC affiliated TV station in Indianapolis, IN owned by the E.W. Scripps Company.
Newscast directing - newslink indiana
As a newscast director for Ball State's NewsLink Indiana show, I have gained experience working with Grass Valley's automated system, Ignite. This is a recording of one of Newslink's 30 minute shows as I direct with Ignite.
The audio from the headset comms have been recorded to hear what the director and floor director are saying.
With this behind the scenes reel, I was hired as a director at WRTV 6 in Indianapolis where I direct evening newscasts on the ABC-affiliated station

Along with directing newscasts for NewsLink Indiana, we are often asked by reporters to accompany them as photographers.
This is a package that I shot as Tony Sandleben conducted the reporting, interviewing and writing. I assisted Tony in the editing process in Avid Newscutter. This was shot hours before the newscast and aired the day it was filmed and edited.
freelance camera operator - music for all national concert band festival
Working with Mr. Video Productions and Box 5 Media, I have worked on many multi-cam event video crews around the midwest. Many events that I have worked on are music related.
On these events, I am usually a camera operator and help set up and tear down, 3-5 cameras, 2-5 microphones and sometimes work as a one man production crew to film an event.

Working with Mr. Video Productions, I helped film the Bands of America Grand National Championships. I was camera 3 on this production and due to copyright issues, there are no high quality versions of this show uploaded anywhere.
On this production, we utilized Lucas Oil Stadium's in house Ikegami cameras.
